Grand Theft Auto
1. Don't leave car unattended when warming up the engine
2. Turn your car off, many vehicles are stolen from convenience stores and ATM when left unattended & running
3. Do not leave a spare key inside the vehicle
4. Use an anti-theft device or Two (steering wheel locks, steering column locks, brake locks)
5. Install a car alarm
6. Install a kill switch
7. Install a tracking device which emits a signal to a police or monitoring station when the vehicle is reported stolen. Tracking devices are very effective in helping authorities recover stolen vehicles

Burglary from Motor Vehicle
• Do not leave valuables inside your vehicle
• Lock your car door even if you leave your vehicle unattended for a moment
• Do not leave spare change
• Do not leave connector cables for IPods, cell phone, GPS units, computer etc…
• Do not leave purses, wallets or briefcases
• Remember to Lock it, Hide it, Keep It

If you witness suspicious activity, call for immediate police assistance. Be prepared to provide the suspect(s) physical description: clothing, height, weight, as well as suspect(s) vehicle description: make/model, color, and license plate number.
