Representatives of Riley Fire Department, Riley Lions Club, Riley School PTO, and Terre Haute Savings Bank were present at the 5th grade graduation of Riley Elementary school on May 23rd to help present the 2013 Cameron Langenfeld award. Each organization serves as a sponsor for the award which was presented to winner Ethan Hooper by Pam Bird, Cameron’s mother. Also recognized were two other nominees Jasper Rees and Jared Rees. The Langenfeld award is presented to a graduating 5th grade student nominated by school staff who constantly strives for personal improvement through the application of hard work while maintaining love for live and fellow people. The award is in memory of Cameron Langenfeld who died in 2007 while a fifth grader at Riley Elementary.
