Through its Impact Detroit Initiative and in partnership with Revolve
Detroit, the Detroit Collaborative Design Center at the University of
Detroit Mercy School of Architecture is spearheading the Livernois
Community Storefront project on the Avenue of Fashion. The project
will activate a vacant storefront and create a community hub
showcasing small businesses and local culture. Various events will
take place in the space this spring and summer, including Light-Up
Livernois, a festive weekend community event on May 31/June 1.
The Events start at 6:00pm Friday and at 10:00am on Saturday
