Riley Firefighters were called to 5201 E. Woodsmall Drive early Friday morning reference a garage fire. Upon arriving at the address in 5 minutes firefighters quickly extinguished a fire in a detached garage belonging to Mr. Brian Rexrode. Mr. Rexrode was preparing to leave the home when he discovered the fire and called 911 at 0819am. The cause of the fire was determined to be accidental and property loss was contained to only some rolled insulation being stored in the garage. Firefighter were complete at 0908am and were assisted by Honey Creek, Pierson and Sugar Creek Fire Departments.
