On June 1, 2013, at 4:36 a.m., deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, South Los Angeles Station/Lawndale Service Center, responded to the 15600 block of Grevillea Avenue, Lawndale regarding a person that has been shot. Upon their arrival, they located a 19 year old male, a resident of Lawndale, in the street. The victim suffered from at least one gunshot wound.

The victim was treated for his injuries at the scene and transported to a local hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

It is unknown if this was a gang related shooting. Detectives are continuing their investigation.
