Think you can write the best rap about violence prevention? Here’s your chance to show us what you’ve got! The U.S. Attorney’s Office, Eastern Michigan District is hosting a hip-hop rap video contest to promote positive, creative alternatives to violence. The contest is easy, all you have to do is put pen to paper and create a rap about preventing violence, get a friend to help you make a video of you performing it, and submit the video and lyrics to Detroit One! Then come down to the event on June 8th at the Detroit School of Arts and watch the winners (who you could be one of) perform! If you want your voice to be heard, we want to hear it!
Stop violence now, stand up, speak up, save a life.
