South Los Angeles Station deputies are searching for 2 male adults who fired numerous shots at the driver of a vehicle they attempted to carjack around 2:30 p.m. today near the intersection of 112th Street and New Hampshire Avenue in the unincorporated West Athens area of Los Angeles. The victim was not struck by the gunfire and was able to flee the area in his vehicle.

The suspects, who were described as being in their early 20's, were last seen driving eastbound on Imperial Highway near Vermont Avenue in a red vehicle.
