On Friday, June 7, 2013 at approximately 11:30 a.m., a Santa Rosa Junior College District Police Department (SRJC PD) Officer was patrolling the streets surrounding the Junior College area in Santa Rosa. The officer observed Christina M. Urrutia-Urena, a 23 year old Santa Rosa resident, and Simone N. Hall, a 22 year old Santa Rosa resident sitting in a blue Acura coupe parked in front of a house in the 500 block of Richmond Drive. The officer conducted a records check on the Acura’s license plate and discovered it was reported stolen out of Santa Rosa on June 5, 2013. She was booked into the Sonoma County Jail without bail. Hall was arrested for theft of a motor vehicle and violation of probation. She was booked into the Sonoma County Jail and her bail was set at $15,000.
The victim was contacted and recovered the vehicle at the scene.
