During the past month, Officers from Western District have responded for multiple reports of thefts of outboard boat motors that occurred in the community of Arden on the Severn in Crownsville. In each of the incidents, the motors were attached to boats that were parked in the driveway/yard at the victim's residence at the time of the thefts. The thefts have occurred during the overnight hours. In at least one theft, the suspects cut a padlock that was being used to secure the motors to the boat.
