There has been an increase in daytime burglaries in your area of the city. A witness from an incident last week described an inividual attempting to appear as a utility worker or contractor who was attempting to gain entry to a rear or side window of a home. The subject left the location in a gold or silver Toyota Camry bearing Virginia plates.

Please ensure the doors to your home and sheds or garages are locked and valuables are not visible through windows. Ensure that you have a record of serial numbers of your valuables written down and stored in a seperate location from those valuables.
