Telephone Scam 
Be aware of the following scam:
“A resident advised that she received a telephone call from (786) 358-6691, which indicated NOT IN USE on her caller ID. The person identified themselves as John Patterson and is a junior verification person. Mr. Patterson advised the resident that he already had her routing number, but needed her checking number. The resident refused to provide the information. Mr. Patterson stated she would be at risk for not receiving future Social Security checks and Medicare. “
Always report any suspicious calls or activity.
