The Bernalillo County Sheriff's Department is investigating a serious motor vehicle crash on Interstate 40 in the East Mountains. The Eastbound lanes are closed from the Cedar Crest exit (milemarker 175) to the Zuzax exit (milemarker 178). The road will be closed for at least 2-hours. Please seek alternate routes east from Albuquerque. Expect delays on Highway 66 from Carnuel through the Zuzax area. If at all possible delay your commute back to the east Mountains. Listen to local radio reports for additional traffic updates.
