The Bernalillo County Sheriff's Department has reopened eastbound Interstate 40 near the Zuzax exit after a crash earlier today. Traffic is still backed up and moving slowly from Carnuel through the area of the accident (from the city limits to milemarker 178). Use caution while travelling through this area during the evening commute. If possible delay your commute through Tijeras Canyon until the traffic begins to clear. Use Highway 66 as an alternate, traffic is not as snarled.
