NEW TRASH CART ROLLOUT SCHEDULED FOR MONDAY AND TUESDAY:
On Monday, June 17th, the Borough will begin delivery of the new 95-gallon trash carts to residential and business customers.

In order to avoid conflicts with regularly scheduled trash pickup, cart deliveries will be made on the Delaware River side of the railroad tracks on Monday, followed by delivery of the carts on the Borough Hall side of the railroad tracks on Tuesday.

You may put your trash on the curb as normal on Monday or Tuesday but beginning next Friday, June 21st, the new trash collection day will be every Friday.

This new automated trash collection system will save Palmyra taxpayers at least $500,000 over the life of the program.

If you pre-ordered a 65-gallon cart, it will be delivered on Monday or Tuesday as well.

PLEASE REMEMBER: Starting next Friday, trash collection will be every Friday and all of your trash must be placed into the carts.

Any additional trash can be taken to Public Works on Saturday morning from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
