NORTHERN DISTRICT
COMMERCIAL ARMED ROBBERY BROOKLYN PARK
On June 14, 2013, at approximately 9:41 p.m., officers from Northern District responded to the Shell gas station located in the 5600 block of Ritchie Highway in Brooklyn Park for a report of an armed robbery that just occurred.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with the clerk, who reported that a male suspect entered the store, displayed a handgun and demanded cigarettes and U.S. currency. The clerk, fearing for his safety, complied with the demands and the suspect fled the business. Officers canvassed the vicinity, but were unable to locate the suspect.
Suspect: Black male with gray facial hair, wearing eye glasses, a black shirt and a green hat
