Swedish Day's officially kicks off tomorrow, June 18th, 2013. There will be many visitors in town and traffic will be heavy. South Third Street, between James Street and Campbell Street will be closed each evening (Tuesday though Saturday) from 4:30 pm until 10:00 pm, for scheduled entertainmant on the main stage. There will be significant traffic impacts on Sunday June 23rd, from 12;30 pm until approximately 3:30 pm, to accomodate the Swedish Day's parade. We strongly encourage visitors to come out for the festivities. If you do come downtown for the festivities, please use caution as there will be numerous pedestrians and vehicles in the area. Please join us in doing all we can to assure for a safe and fun Swedish Day's event.
