Items were stolen from an un locked vehicle overnight on Stumpfield Rd. Breaking into cars (or opening un locked doors) are crimes of opportunity and are not likely to occur if they have to brake a tempered window and further risk being caught. PLEASE lock your vehicle’s and remove anything of value!!!!!!

There has also been a recent rash of day time burglaries in surrounding towns. The suspects are knocking on doors and when they get no answer they are then kicking in the door to gain entry. Please make every effort to secure your homes and if you have a home security system please set it. If you are leaving for vacation we can check your property while you are away. Just stop by the police department and fill out the house check form.
