Flood Watch remains in effect until 8:00 p.m. this evening with rainfall from 3/4 inch to 2 inches.

Flood Watch remains in effect until 8:00 p.m. this evening.

Occasional heavy rain and scattered thunderstorms will occur today. Rainfall amounts may vary but from three quarters to an inch to 2 inches is expected today.

Sharp rises on rivers and streams to near banks may occur. Embedded thunderstorms will produce locally heavier rainfall amounts with the potential for very localized flash flooding. Some Road and urban flooding is also possible. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on current forecasts. You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take quick action should flooding develop.
