Advisory For Stoney Creek Metropark Fireworks 
Please be advised that Stoney Creek will hold fireworks in the park tonight at 10 o'clock P.M. Please expect heavy traffic along 26 mile road between M-53 and The park entrance, as well as heavy traffic along Shelby, Mound, and Van Dyke Roads. Also, the fireworks will be professional grade, thus very loud. They should be done shortly after 10:30. Please allow extra time to travel in this area, and avoid the area if possible. Please call Stoney Creek Metropark at (586) 781-4242 for further information. Please DO NOT call your local police department to report traffic problems in that area, other than accidents or serious emergencies related to the traffic.
