Flash Flood Watch for Hardin County
The NWS has issued a Flash Flood Watch until midnight tonight for Hardin County. From the NWS:
* UNTIL MIDNIGHT EDT TONIGHT
* SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON AND LAST INTO THIS EVENING. THESE STORMS WILL ONCE AGAIN HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO PRODUCE HEAVY RAIN. SOME OF THIS RAINFALL MAY OCCUR OVER AREAS THAT ALREADY RECEIVED HEAVY RAIN OVER THE LAST SEVERAL DAYS. THEREFORE... FLASH FLOODING WILL BE POSSIBLE.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT FLOODING OF SMALL STREAMS... CREEKS AND OTHER DRAINAGE AREAS IS POSSIBLE WITHIN THE WATCH AREA. PEOPLE IN THE WATCH AREA SHOULD KEEP AN EYE ON THE WEATHER AND BE PREPARED FOR IMMEDIATE ACTION SHOULD HEAVY RAINS AND FLOODING OCCUR OR A FLASH FLOOD WARNING BE ISSUED.
