Suspicious vehicle call leads to arrest on multiple drug charges 
On Monday 7-8-13, NCSO units were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle parked near Oak Level Cafe. Once making contact with the driver, William Pridgen, it was discovered that he had an outstanding warrant for Failure to Appear on charges of Trafficking Cocaine from Edgecombe County. Mr. Pridgen was placed under arrest for the outstanding warrant.
While searching Mr. Pridgen incident to arrest, a small baggie of Cocaine, a baggie of Marijuana, 21 tablets of Oxycodone, and $2,100 in cash were located on his person. Upon searching his vehicle, more Cocaine was found, 12 cell phones, electronic scales, a Crack pipe, and illegal fireworks.
Mr. Pridgen was transported to the Magistrate where he was charged with the below charges:
PWISD Marijuana; Felony Possession of Cocaine (2 counts); Felony Possession of Schedule I Controlled Substance; Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana; Maintaining a Vehicle/Dwelling for Controlled Substance; and Possession of Pyrotechnics.
He was placed into NCJ under a $75,000 secured bond.
