A Flash Flood Watch is in effect until 10 p.m. this evening. Thunderstorms may produce very heavy rainfall rates late this afternoon and into this evening. Localized flash flooding could result.

Flash flooding may cause water levels in creeks and ditches to rise very quickly. This could inundate some roads especially in low lying and poor drainage areas.

Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation. You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should flash flood warnings be issued.
