On Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at approximately 1:08 p.m., Central Dispatch received a call of a possible drowning at Pike Lake. Warsaw Parks Department Lifeguards searched the area prior to Scuba Divers from the Warsaw Police Department, Warsaw Wayne Township Fire Territory, and the Department of Natural Resources arriving. Divers searched the area around the pier for approximately 45 minutes and DNR searched the lake with use of sonar. The call was unfounded.
