Reward Offered For Homicide Information
Dallas police homicide detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying suspects who killed Juan Zelada a Latin male 53. On July 13, 2013, at about 1:00 AM, Mr. Zelada was in the parking lot in the 9700 block of Military Parkway where he lived. Detectives believe Mr. Zelada was exiting his vehicle when he was approached by two unknown suspects. One of the suspects hit Mr. Zelada in the face and shot him. Mr. Zelada died from his injuries. Detectives believe robbery to be a possible motive. This offense is documented on service number 177683-A.
Mr. Zelada was an employee of Oak Farms Dairy (formerly Schepps). Oak Farms Dairy will pay $10,000 for any information leading to the arrest and indictment of the suspects responsible for this offense. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Dallas Police Department’s Homicide Unit at 214-671-3661. This reward will remain in force for six months.
