The Campbell Police has been investigating allegations of inappropriate actions of a chiropractor towards a patient. During the investigation, it was determined that the crimes of sexual battery and penetration with a foreign object had been committed.
On Friday, July 19, 2013 Campbell Police Investigators arrested Dr. Manfred Alkhas (46 years old of San Jose) for sexual battery on a patient at his Campbell Office (280 E. Hamilton Avenue).
It has been determined that Dr. Alkhas has worked as a chiropractor for numerous years and garnered the trust of patients during that time. Based on his work in the chiropractic field and the number of patients he has seen, Campbell Police Investigators are trying to determine if other patients were touched inappropriately by Dr. Alkhas.
It is the ultimate goal of the Campbell Police Department to ensure the safety and well-being of victims while successfully prosecuting these crimes.
