Franklin, TN – Franklin Police want to identify this man, wanted for stealing more than $900 from the Cool Springs Belk, and then assaulting a store loss prevention employee during his getaway.
The suspect caught security’s eye at 4:49 yesterday afternoon when he began picking up several name brand, high-ticket items. Once he had 10 designer shirts, he used a tool to remove the anti-theft sensors, put the shirts into a bag, and left the store. The suspect, described as dark-complected male, wearing a white Muhammad Ali iron-on t-shirt and green Lacoste hat, ran to his Blue Nissan Altima with temporary tags. Belk’s loss prevention employee had to get out of the path of the suspect’s vehicle to avoid being injured during his escape. The suspect in this case is wanted for Felony Theft and Aggravated Assault.
