EVENT SPECIFICS: If you are not already attending one of the twenty-or-so neighborhood block parties, please join us in celebrating the 30th Annual National Night Out with kick-off at 5:00pm at MORE. There are four public events where food and drinks will be served; they are:

That evening, you can follow our Knight with real time updates through the Nixle System. Please share this information with friends and family. Others can get connected through the City's Website at www.cityofplacerville.org Click the Nixle logo on the front page and complete the easy sign up.

Bring family, bring friends, and bring your appetite! In addition to the traditional barbequing of hotdogs at the public event locations, barbequed Tri-tip sandwiches will be served at the El Dorado County Library location. Please come meet your neighborhood Cop and share in an evening of community involvement and awareness. Help us make this event the best in National Night Out’s 30 years! National Night Out is an annual event designed to strengthen our communities by encouraging neighborhoods to engage in stronger relationships with each other and with their local law enforcement partners. The goal is to heighten crime-prevention awareness, build support and participation in local anti-crime programs, and most importantly, send a message that our neighborhoods are organized and fighting back. It’s also the perfect opportunity to get to know your neighbors even better. See you there.
