Milan Summer Fest starts tonight and extends through Saturday, August 3, 2013. Please see the City of Milan website for a schedule of events and a map of the 5K race route.

5K Race: There will be a 5K race at 7:30 am Saturday morning, August 3rd starting at the Methodist Church and extending into the subdivision to the south. Police and Reserve Officers will be working the event. Although the subdivision streets will remain open, there may be some traffic interruptions. Arkona will be closed between Carpenter and North for about 5-10 minutes at the start of the race to allow the runners to proceed through. Motorists should be aware of pedestrians walking and running through the area and exercise additional caution.

Tolan Street: Tolan Street will be closed between Main and the entrance to the city lot between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm. on Saturday, August 3rd.
