OFFICERS ARREST THREE SUSPECTS IN CONNECTION TO A SERIES OF ARMED ROBBERIES
The Anne Arundel County Police Department has arrested and charged three suspects in relation to an armed robbery of a citizen on Nolpark Court in Glen Burnie on August 3, 2013, and a second armed robbery in the area of Imperial Square and Ransom Drive in Odenton on August 3, 2013. The investigation into several, similar armed robberies in Western and Eastern District is ongoing and those incidents are listed below.

WESTERN DISTRICT
ARMED ROBBERY (CITIZEN) SEVERN
On August 2, 2013, at approximately 12:40 a.m., officers from the Western District responded to the 1800 block of Triple Feather Road in Severn for a reported robbery of citizens.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victims, a 37-year-old and a 13-year-old female from Severn along with a 48-year-old male from Baltimore City and a 15-year-old male from Severn, who stated the two suspects, one brandishing a handgun, approached them and took a ball cap from the 15-year-old male and an iPhone from the 13-year-old female. The suspects subsequently fled on foot. There were no injuries to the victims. Officers searched the area, but did not locate the suspects.
WESTERN DISTRICT
ARMED ROBBERY (CITIZEN) ODENTON
On August 2, 2013, at approximately 1:05 a.m., officers from the Western District responded to the intersection of Commodore Court and Commissary Circle in Odenton for a reported citizen robbery.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with the 30-year-old male victim, who stated the two suspects, both brandishing handguns, approached him and took his cell phone and wallet. The suspects then fled on foot. Officers searched the area, but did not locate the suspects.
WESTERN DISTRICT
ARMED ROBBERY (CITIZEN) ODENTON
On Friday, August 2, 2013, at approximately 11:47 p.m., officers from the Western District responded to the 100 block of Militia Place in Odenton for a reported robbery of citizens.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victims: a 29-year-old male, a 29-year-old male, a 31-year-old female and a 27-year-old male all from Odenton, who stated that they were robbed by five male suspects at gunpoint. The suspects removed personal property and fled the area in a silver/white colored Dodge or Chrysler minivan. Officers checked the area with negative results.

ARMED ROBBERY (CITIZEN) ODENTON
On Saturday, August 3, 2013, at approximately 12:15 a.m., officers from the Western District responded to the area of Ransom Drive and Imperial Square in Odenton for a reported robbery of citizens.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victims: a 40-year-old male from Odenton and a 35- year-old female from Arnold, who stated that they were robbed by three suspects at gunpoint. The suspects removed personal property and fled the area in a minivan. Officers, the Air Unit and K-9 checked the area with negative results.

EASTERN DISTRICT
ARMED ROBBERY (CITIZEN) GLEN BURNIE
On August 3, 2013, at approximately 2:15 a.m., officers from Eastern District patrol responded to the 7900 block of Nolpark Court in Glen Burnie for a reported armed robbery.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim, a 32-year-old male from Brooklyn Park, who stated he was in front of the Target when he was approached by two subjects. One suspect was armed with a handgun. They demanded property and the victim complied. The suspects then fled the area toward Glen Marr Road. Responding officers observed a suspicious vehicle in the area turning onto Hidden Brook Drive. As officers pulled behind the vehicle, the vehicle abruptly pulled to the right and stopped. A passenger jumped from the vehicle and fled into a wooded area. The driver and a second passenger were detained at the scene. Officers set up a perimeter and K-9 responded to the scene to assist with the search.
The subject that fled from the suspect vehicle was located a short time later by patrol officers in the area. All three suspects were taken into custody. Officers recovered a handgun and additional evidence from the crime scene. The victim was not injured in the robbery.
UPDATE:
All three suspects have been charged in connection with two of the robberies at this time (the robbery on Saturday, August 3, 2013 in the area of Ransom Drive and Imperial Square in Odenton and the one on August 3, 2013, in the 7951 Nolpark Court in Glen Burnie)
Suspect #1: Mark Dorsey, 19, of 2401 Garrison Blvd. (armed robbery, robbery, assault, theft, possession of a handgun in commission of a felony, carry or wear handgun on person)
Suspect #2: Khaylan Makell, 16, of 8218 Dunfield Court, Severn, Md (charged as an adult with armed robbery, robbery, assault, theft, possession of a handgun in commission of a felony
Suspect #3: 15-year-old male from Severn (charged as juvenile with same charges as suspect #2)
