Burglary/Theft 
The Columbia Township Police Department is currently investigating the burglary of an out-building that occurred in the 8000 block of Giles Road. The crime occurred sometime over the week prior to being reported.
The victim reported the burglary to Officer Jeff Anderson on Thursday, August 1, 2013. The victim had been storing items in the barn following a fire at the residence several months ago.
The items stolen include:
John Deere riding lawnmower with a 48 inch deck;
Honda model HR217 push mower with a bagger attachment;
John Deere power washer, mooodel # C26006h,
Honda 22-inch snow blower with electric start.
