National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for South Central Haberham County in Northeast Georgia until 6:30 pm at 4:32 pm local law enforcement officials reported flash flooding across the warned area. Radar estimated 2 to 3 inches of rain within about a one hour period. Some locations that will experience flooding include Baldwin,Cornelia, and Demorest. There are several reports of roads closed due to high water across the southern part of the county. Do not drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross safely.
