No coliform bacteria detected in on-post water samples. 
The U.S. Army Garrison-Hawaii routinely monitors drinking water quality to protect public health.
Test results received yesterday from a routine sample taken from Schofield Barracks indicated the possible presence of coliform bacteria.
The water lines in the area were immediately flushed and additional samples were collected yesterday.
Results received this afternoon showed no bacteria was detected in any of the additional samples, therefore the water is safe to drink.
