On August 10th, 2013 at about 10:22 p.m., an officer patroling the area had a pizza delivery driver approach him and advise that he had been robbed about ten minutes prior in the 100 block of Easton South in Laurel.
The driver was walking out of an apartment building in the 100 block of Easton South Laurel, when he was approached by several male suspects (unknown how many) from behind. The driver was struck in the head with an unknown object. The suspects took personal property from the driver and fled the area on foot in the Tall Oaks Apartment Complex.
The driver was treated by the paramedics at the Maryland City Volunteer Fire Department.
The area was canvassed by police; however the suspects were not located.
The suspects were described as black males with an unknown age. One suspect was described as having dread locks.
There is no additional description for the other suspects, nor the weapon(s) displayed.
This is the third citizen robbery that has occurred in the immediate proximity of the Tall Oaks Apartment complex within the last week.
There have been extra police patrols in the area, and Western District Detectives are following leads.
