Theft From Auto Arrests

On 08/11/13 at approximately At 0017 hours Officers were dispatched to the area of Rita Drive at Baliol Drive for Tampering with Autos in progress. The witness observed three suspects breaking into his neighbor’s car. Upon arrival to the area two of the suspects were immediately apprehended. The third suspect fled the area on foot.
Several officers including K-9 and air support canvassed the area for the third suspect but were unable to locate same. Victim vehicles were located in the 400 and 500 blocks of Rita Drive. The suspects were cited with Rogue and Vagabond and Theft.

Citizens are reminded to lock their vehicles; remove valuable items from plain view; park in well lit areas if possible; and to call 911 to report any suspicious activity.
