Stolen & Recovered Vehicle
Odenton
On Saturday, August 10, 2013, at approximately 1:30 am, officers from the Western District responded to the 400 block of Maple Ridge Lane in Odenton for a reported stolen vehicle.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated that her 2006 Jeep Liberty was stolen from her residence.
At approximately 2:00 am, officers responded to the area of Hoods Mill Ct in Odenton for a report of a tampering with auto. When officers arrived in the area, they saw what they believed to be the stolen Jeep Liberty leaving the area. The vehicle was last seen traveling on Strawberry Lake Way towards Waugh Chapel Rd.
Upon canvassing the area, officers found that the vehicle had crashed into the residence of 663 Cadbury Dr causing significant damage to the home. The residence and adjoining residence were immediately evacuated.
The suspect operating the vehicle fled in an unknown direction. Officers searched the area with negative results.
No injuries were reported in either home.
Suspect (1): Black male, dark complexion, wearing dark shirt. No further description.
