School is opening on August 20, 2013. Please make sure you drive in a cautious manner while traveling in school zones. Many children and parents may get distracted and not pay attention while crossing the road, being a cautious driver can save a life. Make sure when parking, loading, and unloading children for school that you park your car legally. Only drop off children in designated loading and unloading zones when at the school. As parents, make sure your children are old enough or have an adult assist them in crossing the street. Also, make sure your child knows how to cross the street safely, if old enough, in crosswalks and look both ways prior to stepping onto the street. Being a cautious driver and pedestrian is how we help prevent a tragedy from occurring.
