Back to School Safety and School Zones 
With Midway I.S.D. and most local schools starting back up next week, please be aware of the school zones and unpredictability of children walking around the school zones. Woodway PSD will be stepping-up security and enforcement of its school zones on the first week of school, starting next Tuesday August 27th. In cooperation with Woodway PSD, Hewitt PD and Midway ISD, we have created a new working police force within the Midway schools to provide a better presence in all schools in the district. Not only will all campuses have officer presence on site, they will also have quick and resourceful backup from these agencies as well as other surrounding agencies working together.
