The Cannelton Police Department is releasing information about a recent crime/crime activity near your address.
On the afternoon of August 21, Chief of Police Lee A. Hall was dispatched to the 300 block of Taylor Street for an older looking male subject who had fallen in the street. Upon the Chief Hall's arrival in the area and speaking with the male subject, it was determined that the male subject was intoxicated. The male subject was arrested and transported to the Perry County Jail for Public Intoxication, a Class B Misdemeanor.
Arrested was Lawarence Nugent, 54 of Cannelton, IN.
