2013 Hurricane Season Planning Information
As we approach the 2013 Hurricane Season, we take a minute to reflect on the 1 year anniversary of Superstorm Sandy. This tropical storm caused severe damage to the Township of Lyndhurst. Through the efforts of local, county and state emergency management personnel, we were able to overcome the devastating effects of this storm. In addition the Lyndhurst Police, Fire, EMS, Police Auxiliary, Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), Public Works, and many others came together and worked through this critical time.
The State Office of Emergency Management (OEM) has put together a comprehensive Hurricane Survival Guide (see attached or use link below). We ask that you please take a minute to look this over and share with family and friends.
