Los Angeles Count Sheriff's Homicide detectives responded to the intersection of East 59th Place and Compton Avenue, Florence/Graham (Unincorporated South Los Angeles), to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male adult and the wounding of another male adult.
Both victims were transported to a local hospital where one victim was pronounced dead. The second male adult victim's condition not yet known.
