Update to Tiffanys Burglary
UPDATE AND RELEASE OF VIDEO:
The Walnut Creek Police Department is releasing the following still photos in the hope members of the public may recognize the vehicles and/or suspects. The video was taken just prior to the burglary at Tiffany's in the early morning hours. It shows six suspects meeting in a parking lot near downtown Walnut Creek. A security camera recorded the suspects as they met and removed the license plates from the white Chevy Blazer that was used to flee the scene. The video also shows the stolen pick-up truck that was abandoned at Tiffany's and two other vehicles. Police are now looking for six suspects and the following vehicles:
1) A white 2004 or 2005 Chevy Trailblazer
2) A newer looking black Cadillac Sedan
3) A dark (possibly black) mid 2000’s Chevy Tahoe or similar
The driver of the Chevy Trailblazer appears to be a Hispanic male, brown hair in his early to mid 20’s, average height, medium build, wearing a dark hoodie and a baseball hat. One suspect associated with the stolen pick-up appears to be white or Hispanic, 5’6" - 5’9" with a slim build, wearing a dark colored hoodie and a baseball hat. Another suspect associated with the stolen pickup is a white or Hispanic male, taller (around 6’), medium build wearing a hoodie and baseball hat.
The black Cadillac and dark Chevy Tahoe type vehicle are both believed to have been in the area during the burglary. Investigators believe there was one person in each vehicle.
Anyone with information about this crime is asked to contact the Walnut Creek Police Department at (925) 943-5877.
