Parks Bureau detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two Robbery Suspects. The Strong-Arm robbery occurred on August 21, 2013, at 6:30 p.m., at Ted Watkins Memorial Park (1335 East 103 Street, Los Angeles 90002). A fourteen year old female (victim) was walking on Success Avenue near 102 Street when she noticed two males (suspects) sitting on their bicycles near the entrance to the pool. One of the suspects (Suspect #1) demanded the victim’s cell phone. Suspect #1 then removed the victim’s cell phone from her back pants pocket. Both suspects were last seen riding their bicycles northbound on Success Avenue.
Suspect #1 is described as a Black male, 17-19 years-of-age, 5’11” tall, 150 lbs., wearing a black and red hat, red hoodie, and black pants. He was riding a red and black bmx-type bicycle.
Suspect #2 is described as a Black male, wearing a grey hat, white shirt, dark pants. He was riding a green “Fixie” bicycle with mag wheels.
