HOME INVASION/ROBBERY
LAUREL
UPDATE:
On Friday, August 23, 2013, Detectives from Western District’s Detective Unit and members of the Special Operations Division executed a search and seizure warrant at 234 Spring Gap South in Laurel. The search warrant is part of an ongoing investigation into the home invasion that occurred on North Gail Street.
During the investigation, Detectives were able to identify a suspect vehicle used during the commission of the home invasion, which in turn lead to the residence where the warrant was executed. Upon completion of the warrant, Detectives located property that was positively identified as belonging to the victims. Two suspects were apprehended and charged with the home invasion/robbery.
Suspect #1: Daniel Raymond Adams, 19, of 234 Spring Gap South, Laurel, Md
Suspect #2: Deshawn Pugh, 19, of 8832 Hunting Lane, Laurel, Md
ORIGINAL MESSAGE:
On August 22, 2013, at approximately 10:12 p.m., officers from the Western District were dispatched to North Gail Street in Laurel for a report of a home invasion robbery.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with the 60-year-old female victim, who advised that she responded to a noise at her front door and opened the front door. At that time, two male suspects pushed their way into her home, knocking her to the floor. The suspects were armed with an unknown weapon. The suspects then ransacked the home, took property from the residence and fled in an unknown direction.
Western District Detectives are investigating the incident.
