* AT 1054 AM EDT WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUES TO SHOW AN
AREA OF HEAVY RAINFALL SPREADING THROUGH THE LEHIGH VALLEY AREA INTO
PORTIONS OF NORTHERN NEW JERSEY. CURRENT RADAR ESTIMATES SHOW 1 TO
POSSIBLY 1.75 INCHES HAS FALLEN OVER THE PAST HOUR. ADDITIONAL
RAINFALL IS EXPECTED TO BE AROUND A HALF INCH THROUGH THE NOON HOUR.

MOST FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. NEVER DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO
AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY. FLOOD WATERS ARE USUALLY
DEEPER THAN THEY APPEAR. JUST ONE FOOT OF FLOWING WATER IS POWERFUL
ENOUGH TO SWEEP VEHICLES OFF THE ROAD. WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED
ROADS MAKE THE SMART CHOICE...TURN AROUND...DONT DROWN.

OF WATER IN URBAN OR OTHER AREAS IS OCCURRING OR IS IMMINENT.
