Fri,4am: Shooting Death Investigation, 11700 blk E. 117th St., Willowbrook (Co.) #LASD Homicide 
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death that occurred on Friday, August 30, 2013, in the 11700 block of E. 117th Street, Willowbrook (unincorporated Los Angeles).
At approximately 4:05 PM, deputies responded to a call of a "gunshot victim" in a car. Upon their arrival they discovered the 22 year-old male victim in a car parked along the south curb of 117th Street at Compton Ave, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
According to a witness, the victim was seated in the car when a light-colored sport utility vehicle (SUV) drove up alongside the victim and shot into the car. The SUV then drove away east on 117th Street and out of view.
The murder weapon and the suspect are still outstanding at this time.
