On September 1, 2013 Chief of Police Lee Hall made a traffic stop at South 6th Street and Taylor Street on a vehicle for expired registration plates. While conducting the business of the traffic stop it was determined that both occupants had warrants for their arrests. Arrested was the driver, George H. Henson, 30 of Tell City and the passenger, James M. Pate, 22 of Hancock County. Both were incarcerated at the Perry County Jail. Chief Hall was assisted by Patrolman Ryan Smith and Deputy Eric Dickenson.
