On Thursday night (9/5/13), at approximately 9:05 PM, a robbery occurred in the area of the VTA Station on Hamilton Avenue and Creekside Way. Witnesses observed the suspect riding away on a bicycle with an 8-10 year old boy yelling for help that his bicycle had just been stolen. A vigilant witness was able to follow the suspect to the Whole Foods parking lot until Officers arrived and placed the suspect under arrest.
The suspect was ultimately arrested for intimidating the witness; however, the victim of the bicycle theft was never located. The Campbell Police is looking for anyone who may have witnessed this or has information regarding the incident to contact the Investigations Division at 408-871-5190.
