ROBBERY
LAUREL - COMMUNITY OF RUSSETT
On September 6, 2013, at approximately 6:46 a.m., officers from the Western District responded to a complaint of a strong arm robbery that occurred at Faraway Hills and Scenic Meadow Drive in Laurel about twenty minutes earlier.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with the 32-year-old male victim, who reported that he pre-arranged a meeting with a male subject he met earlier in the week to sell pairs of his shoes to that individual. The two subjects met at the corner of Faraway Hills and Scenic Meadow Drive and were discussing the sale when two other suspects approached the victim and began assaulting him. A scuffle between the victim and suspects ensued and the original subject he met to sell the shoes to opened his trunk and took three pairs of Nike tennis shoes.
All thee suspects fled on foot in an unknown direction. The area was canvassed by police; however the suspects were not located.
Suspect #1: Black male in his teens, approximately 5’6”, 150 pounds, wearing a black tank top, black sweat pants and blue, gray and purple Nike running shoes
Suspect #2: Black male in his teens, approximately 5’6”, 140 pounds with shoulder length dreadlocks, a white v-neck t-shirt and dark jeans
Suspect #3: Black male in his teens, approximately 6’0”, 200 pounds, wearing a black stocking hat, a black t-shirt and black sweat pants with white writing on the left
