The Cannelton Police Department is releasing information about a recent crime/crime activity near your address.
On September 1, 2013 at 9:04 PM, Patrolman Ryan Smith initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for operating left of center and other traffic violations. During the course of the traffic stop it was determined that the driver was intoxicated. The driver was transported to the Tell City Police Department were a chemical breath test was administered. The driver tested over the legal limit. The driver was then incarcerated at the Perry County Jail.
Arrested was Larry E. Risse, 51 of Tell City, Risse was charged with Operating While Intoxicated, a Class A Misdemeanor and Habitual Traffic Violator, a Class D Felony.
