WESTERN DETECTIVES ARREST TWO SUSPECTS ON TRAFFIC STOP WITH ILLEGAL PRESCRIPTION DRUGS AND HANDGUN

On September 9, 2013, at approximately 2:45 p.m., Western District Tactical Patrol Unit/Tactical Narcotics Team conducted a traffic stop in the area of Jacobs Road and Pioneer Drive in Severn. Detectives were able to develop probable cause to search the vehicle.

Upon searching the vehicle, detectives located a pill bottle with no name or address on the bottle. 14 ½ Oxycodone pills was located inside of the pill bottle with an approximate street value of $350. In addition, a loaded .25 caliber handgun was located in the vehicle with two bullets in the magazine and one in the chamber. Two suspects were arrested and charged accordingly.

Suspect #1: Roy Rucker Jr., 32, of 1819 Graybird Court, Severn, Md

Suspect #2: Juan Goldwire, 31, of 6712 Milltown Court, District Heights, Md
